Exchange Lectureship for a young polymer scientist
American Physical Society Division of Polymer Physics and Institute of Physics Polymer Physics Group Exchange Lectureship for a young polymer scientist.
The Division of Polymer Physics (DPOLY) of the American Physical Society (APS) and the Polymer Physics Group (PPG) of the IOP have agreed a biennial Lecture Exchange for early career polymer physicists.
Nominations are invited for the eighth DPOLY/PPG exchange lectureship. The recipient will be invited to present their work at the 2024 March APS Meeting, with reasonable expenses (up to £1,500) paid by the PPG.
Nominations
The nominee will:
- be a member of IOP Polymer Physics Group
- have no more than 10 years of professional experience since completion of their PhD (exclusive of career breaks such as maternity leave)
- be nominated or self-nominated
Nominations typically include:
- a two-page CV, including a publications list
- a brief statement of up to 250 words explaining the nomination
