IOP member consultation on key priorities
We want to understand and address the issues affecting physics and physicists as a result of the ongoing impact of COVID-19.
With this in mind, we have begun work on a consultation with our members, through our committees and other networks, to understand the needs and concerns of our community – in the short, medium and long term.
This will enable us to prioritise our activities, ensuring that we focus on the most pressing needs of our members and the physics community in the current context.
We want to know how the physics community is experiencing this crisis – the impact it is having on our members’ workplaces and businesses, on the wider economy, business and industry, and on research, the research community and the education sector. If you haven’t already taken part in this consultation via your networks, groups and committees, you can share your thoughts and experiences by emailing us at [email protected].
The information we gather through the consultation, as well as helping to establish our key priorities, will inform our work influencing government and decision-makers. We will report back to members as the consultation work progresses.
