Teacher CPD "Five O'Clock Physics": Teaching Magnetism and Electromagnetism

This is an in-person workshop held at the University of Birmingham aimed at all teachers of physics - not just those who consider themselves to be specialists. Student teachers, trainee teachers, aspiring teachers, retired teachers, technicians also all very welcome.

The interactive workshop is hands-on with a range of practical approaches to teaching magnetism and electromagnetism at KS3 - KS5 including for example: transformers, electromagnetic induction, Faraday's law.

There are a limited number of places available due to the size of the lab so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Parking: Use the North East Muli-storey car park nearby. This requires payment by the RingGo app.

Public transport: There is a rail station on campus “University” and local bus routes.
