St Peter's Stargazing Evening and Public Lecture

Annual Stargazing evening with guest speaker Dr Andy Higginbotham. Live stargazing and a science exhibition also from 6pm on the night.

From 18:00:

• The IOP Yorkshire branch, University of York Physics department and others will be running a science exhibition. No ticket required.
• Stargazing with the York astronomical society (weather permitting). No ticket required.

Public lecture 20:00 - 21:00:

• Public lecture with guest speaker Dr Andy Higginbotham 'Laboratory Astrophysics: Bringing the Universe down to Earth!'. Tickets required (free of charge).
