The Physics of Toys

The IOP's Nonlinear & Complex Physics Group are organising a festive, outreach event focused on the Physics of Toys. World famous scientists will be revealing the secrets of:
- the physics of poppits & jumping poppers,
- the science of slime and stretchy arms,
- hidden toys in everyday life.
Aimed at toy enthusiasts of any age (parents + children all welcome!) and conducted in a hybrid format both in-person at the IOP HQ and streaming live online. The event will take place on the afternoon of Friday 2nd December, from 5-6:30pm. Please register to sign up for the event and find out more.
