ISSC 2025

The next Interdisciplinary Surface Science Conference (ISSC-25) will be held in Oxford in the spring of 2025. The ISSC is the main surface science conference of the UK and attracts researchers across academia, industry, and the national laboratories. The event focuses on all fundamental and applied aspects of surface and interfaces, including physical properties and chemical reactions on surface. It is organised by the Thin Films and Surfaces group of the IOP with a local organising committee consisting of staff scientist of the surface science beamlines of Diamond Light Source and of HarwellXPS. The conference includes a visit to the Harwell campus for lab tours of Diamond Light Source and HarwellXPS.
