IOP Magnetism Winter School

Aimed at new postgraduate research students and those more experienced in research but new to magnetism, this two day school will provide training in the basic principles of magnetism and magnetics and an introduction to theory and modelling, experimental techniques, and metrology. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for participants to meet other members of the UK magnetism community. The school will consist of lectures covering topics ranging from fundamental magnetism to advanced experimental techniques similar to the format of previous Winter Schools, plus a tour of the ISIS Neutron & Muon SOurce. The organisers kindly acknowledge support from the IOP Magnetism Group, and ISIS Neutron & Muon Source (student travel/accommodation).
