IOP Magnetism Winter School

Aimed at new postgraduate research students, early career researchers and those more experienced in research but new to magnetism, this two-day school will provide training in the basic principles of magnetism and magnetics and an introduction to theory and modelling, experimental techniques, and metrology. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for participants to meet other members of the UK magnetism community. The school will consist of lectures covering a range of topics, from fundamental magnetism to advanced experimental techniques, similar to the format of previous Winter Schools. We hope that this will be very useful for all students in broadening horizons, and really encourage students to attend both days.
