Hunting the Higgs - Interactive Particle Physics

Speaker: Dr Sam Gregson, Particle Physicist and Science Educator

The discovery of the Higgs Boson was one of the greatest achievements of modern science, but could you have made it for yourself? Join us to find out!

In this unique, comedic, fast-paced, musical and highly interactive show, you will control the legendary Large Hadron Collider and compete against a team of expert particle physicists! You will have direct access to LHC data and be at the cutting edge of particle physics – in fact, you will be particle physicists for the evening. Through a series of physical, mental and app-based games, you will undertake all the scientific steps required to discover the elusive Higgs Boson. The entire process will be guided by Dr Sam Gregson, and accompanied by the musical and comedic stylings of geek pop sensation and “Britain’s Got Talent” contestant, Jonny Berliner!

So, do you have what it takes to hunt the Higgs?
