Physics Network Coordinator in the North East
Curriculum Leader for Physics, All Saints Academy, Ingleby Barwick
- BSc Geophysics (University of Leeds)
- MSc Engineering Geology (University of Leeds)
- PGCE (University of Leeds)
I’d like to provide effective and valuable support to colleagues both experienced and new to the profession, with the aim of encouraging greater collaboration between schools, and adding quality to physics education in Yorkshire. I welcome innovation and fresh approaches to teaching old concepts, as well as information on curriculum-enriching opportunities for pupils organised by outside organisations and HE institutes. I hope to facilitate the distribution of this knowledge through practical workshops, meetings and ad-hoc support.
I like to keep fit and healthy by road and mountain biking, playing five-a-side football and badminton. I’m a keen musician and amateur cook. Also a big sports fan - particularly formula one and athletics, but not so much football since my team (Middlesbrough) got relegated to the championship!
