Our first contributor is new student teacher Mia who is undertaking a PGCE in Physics from September 2013. Follow her journey this year as she shares her fears, expectations, achievements and disappointments.

PGCE student teacher

We followed Lisa last year throughout her training to become a physics with maths teacher. She's currently on maternity leave, but watch this space as she's planning to start her NQT year early in 2014.


Daniel completed his NQT year in Summer 2013. He'll be keeping us posted about his life as an early career teacher.


Faris is now an established teacher. He´s been in the classroom for three years and became head of physics just two years after completing his PGCE. Read his story here.
