Yorkshire Branch AGM to feature Carlos Frenk lecture

Last year’s Yorkshire Branch AGM was succesfully combined with the annual Guy Fawkes Lecture at St. Peter’s School in York.

This year will see a repeat performance on 14 November. The AGM will take place at 6pm in the School Lecture Theatre at St. Peter’s School, followed at 19:00 by the lecture, to be delivered by Professor Carlos Frenk of Durham University in the Shepherd Hall.

Professor Frenk is an eminent cosmologist, well known from his many appearances on TV and radio, and his lecture, titled ‘Cosmic History: Everything from Nothing’ promises to be an exciting and unique insight into the cutting edge of current research.
