Joint Quantum Centre launch

The universities of Durham and Newcastle are launching the new Joint Quantum Centre (JQC) on 25 June.
As part of the launch event, a lecture by Prof. Alexander Fetter of Stanford University will be given entitled: X-Rays, Neutrons and Superfluid Ultra-cold Atoms: The Evolving Role of Correlation Functions.
The venue for this lecture will be CLC202, Calman building, Mountjoy (science) site Durham University at the time is 16:00.
In addition to the lecture, there will be a one day workshop with a poster competition for physics Phd students with a prize of £100 for the best poster.
