Statement on the death of Her Majesty the Queen

On behalf of the entire physics community, we are very saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty the Queen.

We join our members and physicists across the world in paying tribute to her decades of service.

We were pleased to receive a Royal Charter in 1970 and have long valued this mark of recognition from Her Majesty.

We offer our condolences to the new King and the rest of the Royal Family at this very sad time.
