Help shape the programme of activities across your discipline, application, area of interest or region and play a part of the IOP!
As a committee member on one of our special interest groups, nations or regional branches, you’ll have the opportunity to support the physics community, advocate for the issues that matter most to you and help influence the future of physics. You’ll work alongside other dedicated members to advance our shared goals and achieve impactful and meaningful outcomes.
Joining an IOP committee is immensely rewarding. It is a fabulous opportunity to contribute to the development of physics and, more widely, STEM, particularly in the UK and Ireland, and enhancing the role that the IOP plays in this.
We believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute to our committees and welcome IOP members from every part of the physics community to join our member network committees.
It is a great opportunity to develop committee-level experience and provides an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience, and share your passion and perspective to make a valuable contribution to the operations of the IOP.
