Technician Awards

The IOP Technician Award, now split into two categories, recognises and celebrates the skills and experience of technicians and their contribution to physics.

An Honorary Fellowship is the highest accolade presented by the Institute of Physics to reflect an individual’s exceptional services to physics. This includes outstanding technicians contributing to physics in secondary schools, further education and higher education, national research facilities, business and teams.
