IOP awards analysed by gender over time
The IOP’s awards are an important part of how we recognise exceptional achievement in physics.
As part of our commitment to making physics more representative of wider society, we have analysed the gender balance of our past awards, and we are making all the data available. View awards data here.
We recognise we have more to do to achieve our goal of making physics more diverse and inclusive of people from all backgrounds. To accelerate this progress, we have launched a programme of engagement with our members, staff and non-members, to capture their experiences and suggestions about how we address inequality in physics. To give everyone a voice, we are running a survey until Monday December 21. Complete the survey here.
