An introduction to Project Juno and the process involved.
Project Juno recognises and rewards the progress that physics departments are making to address the under-representation of women at all levels in university physics. Juno was developed by the Institute in 2007 in response to the International Perceptions of UK Research in Physics and Astronomy report, which identified a need to attract and retain more women in physics. It is based on best practice identified from the Institute’s report, Women in University Physics Departments: A Site Visit Scheme 2003–2005.
