Winner of the PPCF Best Poster Prize at the 2009 Summer College on Plasma Physics
Dr W. J. M. Samaranayake has been awarded the IOP-PPCF Prize for best poster at the 2009 Summer College on Plasma Physics, which was held at the ICTP from 10-28th August. Dr Samaranayake presented a poster detailing her experimental and numerical work investigating ozone production in plasma discharges for both environmental and medical applications. The award was presented by Summer College directors Prof. R Bingham, Prof S. M. Mahajan, Prof. P. K. Shukla and Prof. L. Stenflo.
