Northern Ireland

Location: BT47

I graduated from Queens University Belfast with a BSc(Hons) Physics in 1992 and a PGCE in 1993. I worked in St Peter's High School from 1993-2000 as a teacher of Science and Maths, before taking up a post in Foyle College in Derry, where I am Head of Physics and a Senior Teacher. I also have a role as Principal Examiner for GCE Physics with CCEA, the exam board for Northern Ireland.

Professional interest
I would like to develop more opportunities to make connections with other teachers, physics specialists and non-specialists, to engage with them and support them professionally. It is always a pleasure to be involved in Physics Busking, hosting the Tyndall Schools' Lecture, the QUB and the ASENI teacher conferences.
