I have been the Deputy Team Leader of Science at Croesyceiliog School for the last two years. In 2007 my C.S.I. project came second at the Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Teachers Forum (Helsinki) and since then I was made one of thirty Innovative Teachers Network Specialists in U.K.
I have worked with ACCAC and NGfL Cymru at the development of online interactive teaching resources for Physics and I am the group leader of one of the nine finalists across U.K. for the Rolls-Royce Science Prize 2008-2009.
In my school I also lead the Innovative Teachers Group and the Torfaen Innovative Teachers Community for our LEA.
I am a Judo blue belt and I have three lovely boys that keep me up most nights.
I have a passion for education and I am committed to exploring innovative and creative ideas to enhance the teaching and learning experiences of my fellow colleagues and my pupils. I love physics and I believe that sharing good practice and supporting each other is key to a successful network.
