Career
I studied Physics at Cardiff University and graduated in 2003. I then completed my Physics P.G.C.E. course in UWIC (University of Wales Institute, Cardiff). I am currently completing an MSC in Teacher Education at University of Oxford.
I was the Deputy Team Leader of Science at Croesyceiliog School for over five years. In 2007 my C.S.I. project came second at the Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Teachers Forum (Helsinki) and since then I won a number of teaching awards.
I have worked with ACCAC and NGfL Cymru at the development of online interactive teaching resources for Physics and I was the group leader of one of the nine finalists across U.K. for the Rolls-Royce Science Prize 2008-2009.
In my school I also led the Innovative Teachers Group and the Torfaen Innovative Teachers Community for our LEA.
I worked as Science Subject Lead at TES for two years and as a National Support Partner in Wales to implement the Literacy and Numeracy Framework (LNF).
In 2013 I founded CollaboratEd, an award winning provider of COD for teachers. CollaboratEd has successfully developed programmes of support in 15 countries worldwide.
Currently I am Founding Director of CollaboratEd.org.uk and IOP Teaching and Learning Coach.

Professional interest
I have a passion for education and I am committed to exploring innovative and creative ideas to enhance the teaching and learning experiences of my fellow colleagues and my pupils. I love physics and I believe that sharing good practice and supporting each other is key to a successful network.
