Schools and Colleges Lecture Tour

The Institute of Physics Schools & Colleges Lecture has been delivered by a series of acclaimed physics communicators on an annual basis throughout Great Britain for over twenty years.

The lecture uses demonstrations and interactivity to enthuse students and show how their classroom science relates to modern fields of physics.

Each year, we invite venues to apply to host a lecture. Hosting a lecture will involve holding two lectures in one school day, usually a morning and afternoon slot during school hours. If you are interesting in hosting and would like more information, or to be added to our contact list, please contact education@iop.org.

If you are an outstanding physics communicator and are interested in applying to become our next lecturer, please see our page on lecture tour proposals.
