School Experience
If you do not have recent experience in a school its advised that you arrange a school visit before attending an Assessment Day and applying for an ITT course. We can help you find a school to visit through our School Experience Programme.

What Next?
We will notify you by email if you are awarded a scholarship. Once you have accepted your training place with your chosen training provider please let us know their details. 

You will need to inform your training provider directly that you have been awarded a scholarship so that they can coordinate your scholarship payment with the National College for Teaching and Leadership.  If you have any questions about how the scholarship will be paid these need to be directed to your training provider.

Once all scholarships are awarded, you will be invited to attend a Scholarships Welcome Event. This will take place before you commence initial teacher training and will be where you meet the rest of the scholarship community and your mentor. The Scholarship programme begins as soon as you embark on your initial teaching training.
