Finding an NQT position
Finding the right position in the right school to ensure you give yourself the best possible start to your teaching career is something you owe yourself - especially after all the hard work you put into your Initial Teacher Education.
Take heart from figures from the Times Educational Supplement. They suggest that in 2010 there were 1.05 trainee science teachers per post advertised. Things are set to get tougher, but even so, science NQTs are in relatively strong position.
