Student teacher affiliation
The Institute of Physics has a dedicated Student Teacher Affiliation Scheme for all those in Initial Teacher Education (ITE) in secondary science in the UK and Ireland.
We offer our student teacher affiliates advice and support throughout their training. This includes:
- Supporting Physics Teaching (SPT) materials
(develop your own understanding of the subject and topic specific teaching advice) - Teaching Advanced Physics (TAP) materials
(lesson planning for teaching physics at Key Stage 5) - www.talkphysics.org
community site where you can talk to other teachers, share ideas and seek advice - Regular email updates on other support and resources you'll find useful
