Institute of Physics – Public Engagement Grant Scheme

Our public engagement grant scheme provides up to £1000 to individuals and organisations running physics-based events and activities in the UK and Ireland.

The grant scheme has two rounds each year. Round 1 of the 2010 scheme is now closed but Round 2 will launch in February 2010. To find out more about the scheme, please download the scheme guidelines.

If you would like to talk to a member of the Physics in Society team before you submit an application, then please contact Caitlin Watson at physics.society@iop.org or 020 7470 4800. You can also read about the projects funded in previous years and scheme's judging criteria.

Applicants to Round 1 will be notified of the outcome of their applications by the end of the 2009.
