Evaluation Resources

Evaluation Guide
The Research Councils UK have produced a comprehensive guide which contains practical help and advice for anyone needing to evaluate outreach activities. You can download a copy from here: http://www.rcuk.ac.uk/documents/evaluationguide.pdf

Physics to Go
The Physics to Go pack contains a short guide to evaluating events.

Event Evaluation Questionnaire
Straightforward feedback can be obtained from participants as they leave an event. You can download a sample questionnaire and the guidelines for use.

Physics_comms
The physics_comms electronic discussion list is a forum for people who are interested and active in communicating physics. Use the list to advertise your activities, let everyone know about good physics communication resources, ask for advice or information and keep in touch with other communicators

Science Live
If you are looking for a science presenter to take part in your event, go to the Science Live website, where you can search a directory of science presenters by location and subject area. You can also register yourself as a presenter.

Science and Engineering Ambassadors
Have you got what it takes to inspire the scientists, engineers, technology specialists or mathematicians of the future? If so, why not become a Science and Engineering Ambassador (SEA)? Your local SETPOINT will then be able to use you in its programme of schools’ activities.
