About Nexus
Trips and Events
Nexus organises events for its members on local, regional and national scales. Nexus representatives from different areas of the UK and Ireland organise a variety of intercollegiate events, while individual student physics societies affiliated to Nexus are usually involved with more local events. The latter are often supported by Nexus and sometimes are open to student members from other universities. In addition, Nexus members have the opportunity to attend international trips and events organised in conjunction with the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS).
Events and excursions are often financially subsidised for Nexus members, and student societies can apply for grants for their planned events.
