This popular and rewarding online science outreach activity has gained a lot of ground over the last 2 years. It offers a unique platform to engage with young students on a range of science subjects without even having to leave your computer. There are currently at least two cycles of the competition per year, with the winner of each zone awarded £500 to spend on a communication based project of their choice.

This is an ongoing project to develop and maintain interactive web-based tools that appeal both to students for educational purposes as well as to scientists who wish to make a quick calculation in support of their research. Everyone is welcome to use these tools but Warwick University do ask that when you use their material in publications or presentations that you acknowledge them by mentioning the Warwick Plasma Calculator and their website.
