2008

Nuclear Physics STFC Town Meeting

Adjoined to this year's annual nuclear physics conference is the STFC town meeting. It takes place on 31 March, one day prior to the conference. It is held at the University of Liverpool. Please click here for further details.

Annual Nuclear Physics Group Conference

This year's annual conference is taking place at The University of Liverpool. It takes place from the 1 to the 3 of April and is organised by R-D. Herzberg (Liverpool).Please click here for details of the conference program.

University of the West of Scotland, M Freer, W Nazarewicz, J F Smith and R Chapman: Physics of Open Nuclear Systems
This meeting is set to take place on 9 April 2008. For further details of this one-day workshop please see the following University of the West of Scotland pages.

University of Birmingham, D Evans and P Jones: Heavy-Ion Physics (Joint NP and HEPP)
This meeting is jointly organised with the High Energy Particle Physics group. It is set to take place in May 2008. Further details will follow.

University of Surrey, P M Walker: 50th Anniversary Symposium on Nuclear Sizes and Shapes
This meeting will be held from 23 - 25 June 2008 in Guildford at The University of Surrey. Details of the program can be found here.

15th Nuclear physics Summer School
The next Nuclear Physics summer school will be taking place in September 2009, it is being organised by D Joss and C Wheldon. Further details will follow near to the time of the event.
