Meetings

As part of the IPEM Medical Physics and Engineering Conference (Annual Scientific Meeting), which will be held at Hope University, Liverpool from 14 to 16 September 2009, the Medical Physics Group of the Institute of Physics is organising a short (3-hour) meeting, entitled “Novel Imaging Detectors applied to Medicine and Biology” on Wednesday the 16 of September.

The aim of the meeting is to present a picture of the forefront of research in imaging detectors covering the latest developments in technology and instrumentation and their implementation in biomedical applications and anticipating future breakthroughs.
