Annual PhD Thesis Prize

Terms of reference
The Committee of the Institute of Physics Computational Group has endowed an annual thesis prize for the author of the PhD thesis that, in the opinion of the Committee, contributes most strongly to the advancement of Computational Physics.

A total prize fund of £250 will be awarded at the discretion of the Committee.

Eligibility
Applications are encouraged across the entire spectrum of Computational Physics. The competition is open to all students from an institution in the UK or Ireland, whose PhD examination has taken place in 2008.

Nomination Process
The PhD student should send a 4 (A4) page abstract, the supervisor a citation and the external examiner a confidential report to Dr Nuno Loureiro nuno.loureiro@ukaea.org.uk by September 18 2009.
