Would you like to organize a get-together for women students on your physics course to chat? Why not hold an informal networking event for free by applying to us for a £25 bursary per institution to buy cake, drinks and nibbles and hear other womens' advice and experiences. Applications are now open for the Student Paper Prize for the Women in Science and Technology conference: ‘Gender, Science and the Economy: Exploring Women’s Participation in Technology Transfer, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (TIE)’ Conference, Barcelona, 11-13 June 2008. The first prize is €2000. More information.

On March 8 2006 we held a Careers and Networking Event including talks on careers in journalism, space, materials and medical physics research, nuclear industry, teaching and science policy.
