This site is run by The UK Patent Office as a service to customers and the public. Despite the name, it covers trade marks, designs and copyright as well as patents with historical and current information and links to patent and trademark databases. This site is also the gateway to information on current and previous consultations on changes to IP legislation in the UK. A number of files and pages are only available in Portable Document Format (pdf) and you will need Adobe Acrobat reader to view them.
