10th International Conference on Ionospheric Radio Systems and Techniques

18-21 July 2006, Central London, UK

The IEE has organised nine highly successful International Conferences on HF Radio Systems and Techniques at 3 yearly intervals. The next in this series will be the 10th International Conference on Ionospheric Radio Systems and Techniques (IRST2006) to be held in Central London, UK.

The conference will place an emphasis on HF systems, but will also be open to those with an interest in the effects of the ionosphere on other radio systems, such as GPS and space-based radars.

Those wishing to make a presentation submit an extended abstract as follows

  • one side of A4 paper in length (including any diagrams)
  • include the main points of the paper
  • indicate the paper's innovative contribution and where the emphasis will be placed
  • indicate whether your contribution should be considered for oral or dialogue presentation
  • indicate if you would wish to demonstrate related software

Fatigue 2007: Engineering Integrity Society issues

The Engineering Integrity Society now welcomes abstracts from fatigue practitioners and experts for its 6 th International Conference, Fatigue 2007: Fatigue and Durability Assessment of Materials, Components and Structures. Building on the success of previous international fatigue conferences, the EIS expects authors and delegates from the aerospace, marine, land based transport, manufacturing and materials processing sectors, together with academia and commercial testing practitioners. The conference will offer a first class opportunity to present and hear the latest research on a world stage.

Of particular interest are papers that advance the fundamental understanding of fatigue mechanisms, address engineering design criteria, refine techniques for in service prediction and inspection methods or describe the development and employment of computer-based simulation models.
