Energy and fuel poverty


Mission statement:

  • To facilitate the exchange between members of information relating to all aspects of energy production, transport and usage and their effects.
  • To stimulate interest in and advance the science and technologies of energy related issues, and to provide input into energy debate in general of relevant organisations connected with energy policy and energy use at national, European and international levels.
  • To consider these aims especially in relation to the following areas:
    • energy technologies including renewables and nuclear power,
    • energy conversion in general,
    • energy resources,
    • energy economics including the impact of pricing,
    • electricity generation,
    • security of supply,
    • energy efficiency,
    • energy and climate,
    • energy and health.
  • In addition to comment where appropriate on published energy papers and also to hold lectures and seminars from time to time on important energy issues. Also to consider the energy needs of developing countries.
  • The newsletter is issued quarterly.
