An evening event to look back at the three main sites for nuclear power of Harwell, Calder Hall/Windscale and Dounreay from the 1950s and how the physics shaped their developments.

Confirmed speakers (as of 28 February 2008):

  • Professor Marshall Stoneham FRS, former Chief Scientist of AEA Technology
  • Colin Gregory, former Head of Nuclear Strategy and Technology Group, UKAEA Dounreay
  • Howard Cooper, Head of EHS and Q Services and Programme Delivery for Sellafield
