IOP Divisions

The Nuclear and Particle Physics Division

The Nuclear and Particle Physics Division maintains an overview of all areas of physics associated with Nuclear and Particle Physics and reviews developments in the field. It supports, facilitates and coordinates meetings, conferences and other initiatives in the areas covered by its affiliated groups. The Division also maintains a liaison with the High Energy Particle Physics and Nuclear Physics Boards of the European Physical Society.

The Nuclear and Particle Physics Division has two closely associated subject groups:

In 2006 a new Astroparticle Physics Group will join the Division.

Membership of the Nuclear and Particle Physics Division is through the groups affiliated to the Division.
