QuAMP09 is one of a series of biennial meetings of the Division of Atomic, Molecular, Optical and Plasma Physics (DAMOPP) of the Institute of Physics.

Programme: The meeting will cover a range of topics including femto and attosecond physics, coherent control, cold matter, quantum information, measurement (quantum and classical), molecular, collision and plasma physics. Each topic will be introduced by a key-note tutorial style lecture from an internationally recognized leader in the field.

Registration and accommodation: On-line registration available on the conference web site (www.quamp09.leeds.ac.uk) from January 2009.

Location: The University of Leeds in the heart of the fastest growing city in the UK. The vibrant mix of culture, commerce and style around the city make Leeds the primary social hub of the North. Leeds is also the urban gateway to the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales.

Getting to Leeds: Leeds is well served by an excellent transport system.

Rail: Leeds station connects with all major UK cities. Travel time from London is a little over 2 hours. The campus is five minutes by taxi from the railway station, or a pleasant twenty minute walk.

Road: Leeds is linked to the major motorways M1 and M62.

Air: Leeds is served by two major airports, Leeds-Bradford (7 miles) and Manchester (45 miles, with convenient road and rail links to Leeds).
