Girls in physics

The number of girls who continue with physics after the age of 16 is a major concern. The Institute has been working in this area since 2006. The evalution of the Girls into Physics - Action Research project has just been published

 

Ashfield music festival is a one day, off timetable activity for 14-15 year olds. Working in teams, students adopt different roles and use a mixture of physics and creativity to try to make a profit and win the contract to build the main stage at an upcoming music festival
