Teaching Resources

Group Committee

This website contains detailed ideas and resources for teaching physics to students aged 16-19. The site aims to help those new to teaching this age group, and assumes only a limited access to equipment, to resources, and to advice from experienced colleagues. It is not intended to constrain the development of other equally valid approaches.

To find resources relating to a particular aspect of physics click on one of the topic areas listed below. We would encourage you to download these resources, and then adapt them after first use according to your own requirements. If you wish to discuss your ideas why not join our email network for newer teachers PEPD .

For more information on the site, and on the Physics Enhancement Project (PEP) of which it is a part, see the links below. Future developments of the site will depend on your feedback, so please let us know what you think. Please let us know also if you discover any broken links! In all cases email us at tap@iop.org
