Head of Science/Penaeth Adran Gwyddoniaeth, Ysgol Y Preseli, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro since 1988.
Career
Joined staff of Shooters Hill GS, South East London in 1972, later to become Eaglesfield School. Head of Physics and Electronics from 1974 to 1988.
Links with other Agencies
- A level examiner with OCR for more years than I care to admit; first for Nuffield and then for Advancing Physics.
- Bit role in the revision of Nuffield A level in the early 80's and Advancing Physics more recently.
- Have been involved in curriculum development at CSE, GCSE (and 16+ before it) in Physics and Electronics.
- Ex GCSE coursework moderator for AQA (1994-2004)
- Few other publications over the years.
- Teacher Fellow in Engineering.
Personal Interests
Astronomy, Amateur Radio (GW4OUU), walking, fishing, enjoying the wonderful Welsh countryside and other bits of Britain and Europe.
Aim/Mission
Physics is fun; physics is accessible, at some level, to all.
