Juno workshop 2008

A workshop took place on the afternoon of 12 November for departments who interested in working towards becoming a Juno Champion.  The workshop:

• covered the key steps in the journey to becoming a Juno Champion
• provided the opportunity to network with other departments who are working towards becoming Juno Champions and share experiences
• provided an opportunity to try out a self-assessment and benchmarking tool

The workshop was aimed at:

• Juno/Athena SWAN contacts and members of related working groups
• Heads of Departments and members of senior management teams
• Departmental HR or staff development officers
• Equal Opportunity or Diversity officers working with physics departments

The workshop was attended by 33 delegates with representatives from 15 physics, one engineering and three mathematics departments plus staff from diversity, equal opportunities and HR functions.
