Tips and hints for mentors

  • The clearer and more specific the information you provide as a mentor, the easier it will be for mentees to identify the most suitable match for their professional development needs. This will save time, so it is worth  making the effort to provide an exact profile of yourself.

  • You may not always find the “ideal” match in a mentee – stay flexible and open-minded. It can be beneficial to work with a mentee who has different experience to you own.

  • It is in our interest to make the Mentoring Service work for you and your mentees. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the Mentoring Service, feedback is always welcome, and we’d be delighted to hear from you.
