Business forum

The Institute is committed to working with, and representing the views of, businesses that depend on physics.

Through the IOP Business Forum, which operates both regionally and nationally, the Institute works closely with members in business to promote the importance of physics.

Through round-table meetings and business briefings, the Forum enables decision-makers from business, industry and the economy at large to hear, discuss and report on the impact of new physics or changes that affect physics in the UK. The Forum also allows members in business to bring fresh perspectives on Institute activities, from training teachers and promoting inclusivity, to understanding research priorities and influencing government policies.

This section will also feature reports from meetings previously held by the Forum or sponsored by the Institute, and resources and links relevant to members in business.
