This event will bring together business people, policymakers and educationalists to discuss how physics supports sustainable economic development and what the future might hold for physics based businesses in Scotland.
The meeting will be chaired by Stephen McGeoch, Chair of IOP in Scotland and our speakers will be Ian Ritchie of the Scottish Science Advisory Council and Paul Holbourn of SELEX Galileo.
The presentations will be followed by a debate and forum discussion (held under the Chatham House rule). The evening will conclude with a buffet and networking session giving delegates the opportunity to discuss the issues that have been raised and explore the possibility of collaboration with other interested parties.
