Business Affiliates Network
Business affiliates are companies with special links to the Institute. Membership of the network provides companies with a unique opportunity to influence the focus of Institute activities and to participate in initiatives promoting the contribution that physics and physicists make to innovation, wealth creation and quality of life.

Branches, Groups and Divisions
Are you keen to establish more links with colleagues from within your industry or other fields, including academia, who are active in your particular technical or professional field? Is there an area of physics you would like to be better informed about? The Institute can help you to achieve these aims by encouraging networking between members through a wide range of Specialist Groups, Divisions and Regional Branches.

PEERS
PEERS is a FREE service from Institute of Physics Publishing. It provides a moderated global e-mail directory where you can search for peers, colleagues or useful contacts in your chosen scientific field.

AURIL
AURIL was created by UK universities to help them capitalize on their assets by developing mutually beneficial partnerships with private, public and voluntary sector organisations - partnerships based around research, technology transfer and related activities which foster wealth creation and enhance quality of life.

Government Foresight Programme
Foresight is a national programme, managed by the Office of Science and Technology (OST), to develop visions of the future to guide people who make today's decisions in business, academia and government.

UKCPO ALERTT Project
A DTI funded project to encourage collaboration between industry and researchers in the areas of photonics and optics. The site includes a searchable on-line database of UK companies, research groups and users putting the technology to work.
