Jocelyn Bell Burnell in Leeds!

3 February 2014

Are there really black holes in space? How do we know? What are white holes? Is travel through a worm hole to another universe possible?

Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, the legendary astronomer who discovered pulsars over 40 years ago, will be visiting Leeds in March and will answer some of these fascinating questions.

This public lecture starts at 7pm on Wednesday 26 March 2013 in the Conference Auditorium at the University of Leeds, LS2 9JT. There will be coffee, tea and biscuits served from 6:30pm.

The talk is free so please just turn up! If you are going to bring a coach load of people then it would be helpful to let the organiser, Mike Ries, know in advance (m.e.ries@leeds.ac.uk).
