IOP SW Photography Competition

This competition is open to all IOP members and its affiliated schools that live, study or work in the South West region
The theme is “Physics in the South West.” For example this could involve; Physicists from the South West, research completed at Universities in the region, discoveries made in the South West or simply demonstrations of physical phenomena in front of landmarks in the area.
Submit a photo you have taken and a caption of no more than 200 words explaining how your photo relates to the theme to email@example.com by the 1 February 2012.
Entries will be short listed by a panel made up from the committee and the winner will be decided by the Editor of Physics World.
The finalists will be showcased on the website and at the 2012 Festival of Physics where the winner will be announced.
Prizes: 1st place- an Amazon Kindle, 2nd place- £25 Jessops Vouchers
1.Photos must be in JPEG format and be less than 4MB in size
2.You warrant that the photo is your own work and does not include any other copyrighted materials
3. IOP SW can use the short listed photos (with a photographer’s credit/ copyright statement) in any publicity materials related to this competition)
4.There is a maximum of 3 entries per person
